So here it is, my idea of what the New Winnipeg Jets Logo and jersey could look like. I wanted to keep with our roots in the sense that I kept the same colours: Red, White and Blue but I also added Black and Grey. The original 1973 - 90 logo had a blue Jet on a Red circle, I wanted to go with that theme but this time emphasizing the Jet rather than having emphasis placed on the "Winnipeg Jets" text.

The Jet has strong, sharp lines which were angled from the centre out to give a sense of speed as well as gives the logo a more aggressive feel. I always thought that the 1973 - 90 logo smiled at me the way the "Winnipeg" text was laid out, I didn't want that on my logo.
