It has been a mission of mine for some time now, to find Benny. Who's Benny? Benny was a 6' tall, red nosed, white haired, blue...thing with Winnipeg Jets earmuffs. He was there for us when times were good, he was there for us when times were bad, he was...our mascot! Like the Winnipeg Jets, Benny disappeared out of our sight in 1996. I don't even recall seeing him the night that Thomas Steen's number was retired, otherwise known as the funeral. Maybe he was too sad and couldn't bear to show the children any of his tears.

I am in search of Benny because I would like to know where he lives now, what he is up to and when will we see him again. The clock is quietly ticking and we will need him to come home soon. As winnipeg inches closer to acquiring their team back we will need to get Benny ready so that he can, once again dawn the jersey #00 for the WINNIPEG JETS!!!
